experiment in translating drawings to spatial materials to create a performance space for a showing of stravinsky's "rite of spring".

 

a circular spinning motion was translated into a building where each wall used its gravitational moment to balance that of those adjacent to it, with strong use of shadow and light to engance a feeling of procession.
